Personally, I'm more a fan of his subdued nature than over-exaggerated exuberance.
M.S. was always all jumpie uppie downie, which the announcers loved, but I found a bit goofy. Also worth noting that the same M.S. needed to win so badly that he wasn't above ramming others out of desperation.
I loved K.R.'s expression after winning the championship by the slimmest of margins. Just a grin
And when he loses, he's not destroyed by it, just shrugs it off.
A lot of people hate that, but his seemingly zen-like detachment is one of the reasons I'm a fan.

Exactly. He isn't my favorite driver on the grid, but I have a ton of respect for him just being himself. Too bad he can't do anything for car development. 

But as you said, he is himself and doesn't pretend like some other drivers...
