Default Kimi to RBR in 2012?

Isn't it too early in the season for this stuff?

Would be great to have the Kimster back. Probably less maintenance than Webber or Lewis Hamilton for one

Webber really only seems high maint. when they tell him that he isn't allowed to race. If Webber were in a position of not being competitive I could see getting rid of him, but he's second in the championship so far, and without an engine failure late last year, he may have won the championship last year. IMO Webber is one of the top 3-4 drivers in the sport right now. He just gets overshadowed by Vettel.

I think that dumping Webber for someone who hasn't driven an F1 car for a year would be a huge mistake.

I like Webber, but if I was RBR, I'd probably replace him with someone who would just be happy to be there and can score a few points for the team. Vettel is the clear number 1 driver so I would try to avoid drama by putting someone who also has title hopes in the same car. I guess Kimi would be fine if he would agree to a support role.

Sounds a little far off to me...then again, "Kimi Raikkonen goes to NASCAR" sounded impossible.

Say what you will about Kimi's personality, he is amazing behind the wheel.

well DM said yesterday that Webber will be at the team next year. Maybe they will take Kimi as a Toro Rosso driver now

not going to happen. sadly, i think Kimi is done in F1 unless he is willing to join one of the smaller less successful teams. and i don't think he's willing to do that.
