THE LIMIT- movie about Phil Hill
Well at long last someone in Hollywood seems to have woken up to the fact that its about time someone made a movie about racing. Considering that we've not had anything major since Grand Prix and LeMans this is something I'm looking forward to. Come on Hollywood, release this one already.

What? You mean you didn't like 'Driven' at all?!?
There were always mumblings during the late '90s about a movie about Senna, but that never panned out. I guess there's time still.

That said I enjoyed Driven the first time I saw it and have it in my collection of DVDs. However it is no classic like Grand Prix or LeMans.
Yeah, for sure. I remember Stallone showing up at F1 races in the mid to late '90s doing research. After I saw Driven, I was glad that Ecclestone didn't allow Stallone licence to use F1. Clearly, the characters are all supposed to be real life F1 people....Burt Reynolds as an F1 team owner who happens to be crippled and needs a wheelchair? The massively talented German world champ who is the villain? Hmmmmm....
I hated Driven the first time I saw it. For me, the best racing flick still has to be Grand Prix.
