And as much as I'm Tifosi', I hope Todt does not get the positon, because if he does, the non-tifosi' will never shut the f up about claiming the FiA is favoring Ferrari...

I hope that no one that has ties to a team is selected...

Now the debate - Todt vs. Vatanen? I like Vatanen, and you get the feeling FOTA does too. Of course, FOTA doesn't have a say in the FIA presidential race, but I believe at least the German and American national auto clubs (plus probably most of the other major western European and probably Canadian clubs too) support Vatanen. Rumour is that Todt was in Africa lately drumming up support amongst the African motor clubs for a run at the FIA presidency. Will Vatanen follow?
There was quite a bit of bad blood between Ron Dennis and Todt back in the day, and I don't remember if Flavio Briatore likes Todt that much either? I think Todt is going to have a lot of Ferrari bias attached to him, whether real or perceived. Vatanen's connections with any one manufacturer or team ended much further back in history; Todt's hasn't.
