Monaco
Pretty boring race...but it was interesting to watch MS come from the back of the field to finish 5th in Monaco!
If he had another few laps, he could have been on the podium...
What is also interesting is that we saw both sides of MS - his clear screw up in qualifying and his great drive during the race...If only he would have thought through his actions before qualifying...P2 would have positioned him much better for a win then P22!
RB -
speeding in the pit lane! Not sure what happened to JB...
JT - Toyota proves it's not ready....
RK - Ferrari is waiting...
MW - actually had a good race! Too bad his car couldn't last...
FA - I think he put it in cruise control....

I agree, but once again Rubinho found a way to screw up..
at least he 4th is better than out of the points like Jense
I wonder what excuse Marco San will have for Button's poor showing
Now Honda's in a real dilema as Rubhino has out qualified Button 3 times in a row ain't it ?

Well, the two times before, JB had more fuel but no doubt this is the first time RB did better than JB.
I think Webber had a legitimate chance to win today. He was right behind the top guys and had a few laps more of fuel. Couldn't believe how competitive Williams was today. Good stuff.
Alonso was very lucky today...

Fisi should have gotten a drive-thru penalty for ignoring the blue flags. It happened a bunch of times. He used the blue flags to pass others. Yes, it's smart but i think when you are shown a waved-blue, you should be getting out of the way, not passing others. Can't believe he got off....

The day KR leaves can't come soon enough for me. Before the end of the first lap I'm praying the car doesn't fail him... it's getting pathetic.
"5th in Monaco!"
There's a pony.
There are three competitive teams in F1 (Renault, McLaren, and Ferrari). Raikkonen retires from second, Webber from third.
The fact that MS fans can find comfort in P5 speaks to how desperate they are at this point.
Yaayyyy! P5!!!
edit, I should also add that Michael also continies to stay stupid things...
Speaking after finishing fifth in Sunday's race, Schumi maintained that the spin was a straightforward accident rather than a premeditated attempt to thwart Alonso.
"Anyone who thinks that I deliberately wanted to wreck Alonso's lap is wrong," he declared to Reuters. "And to those who think that, I can only say 'I'm sorry that it happened'.
"But that was certainly not the intention because I was not even aware of where Alonso was. We didn't have radio contact and I did not have any knowledge of who was driving out."
Controversy is nothing new to Schumacher - a factor the German believes was a factor in the stewards' guilty verdict.
"I'm used to living with criticism and in certain situations you just have to live with it. I think that there is a lot of prejudice involved, because no one was really sitting in that car and knew how and why everything happened as it did.
"Without knowing the situation we had and what I felt, no one else is really in a position to accurately judge what happened from the outside.
"I have to admit that certain things must have looked a bit curious from the outside but there were reasons for that and I don't really want to elaborate on it. It's not really anyone else's business either.
"Everyone's got some spots on their clean vests," he continued. "I believe that I've had for the most part a clean vest in the 15 or 16 years that I've been in Formula One and there are perhaps a few darker points in there where some may dispute or criticise things. But I can live quite well with that."
The 37-year-old was subject to an unprecedented level of intense and scathing criticism on Saturday night, with Keke Rosberg describing the incident as the "cheapest, dirtiest thing I have ever seen in Formula One."
In a clear reference to Rosberg and his other critics, Schumacher retorted: "Those who opened their mouths and made their snappy comments are now certainly too chicken to come to me and talk to me one-on-one.
"The others who are more reasonable have come up to talk to me about it. It's like anything else in life. You can't only have friends.
"You've got those who envy you and are foes. You've got to come to terms with that. Why should it be any different than in real life?"

!!!!!! That was brutal and Renault were leveraging the fact that some of the drivers were unsure which driver was coming through....

I am wondering if Honda is starting to develop the car more towards RB?
