To the Auto Racing section crew.

I think its time we get an "active" member as moderator of this board. I don't even know who the mod for this section is? Does he post here? Not exactly good for the "community" if you ask me.

I would like to nominate a few people that are active here and know their stuff and follow auto racing actively in AND out of season.

Myself (GPMike), Cypher09, Matrix.

Personally, I would love to mod this section. I think it can be done up better aesthetically, and also represent the major autosports better.

I suspect you are posting because HondaF1_Fanatic (Marco reincarnated) has just been banned.

If someone is banned and then creates a new log on, they will be banned again. This is the third time we've had to do it for Marco.

You are also sailing close to the wind across numerous sections of this board. You should take this as a warning with regards to your conduct.

 

As the one who stepped down from this mod position, I would simply say, Rich may not be an active poster here now, but he and I are aware of a lot of history, and he has the ear of the right people on this forum and can easily effect change when it is needed. I do not believe it is in the interest of the forum yet to have him step down. And I'm sure his postings will increase once the season gets under way.

As always, if someone wants to step up and take an active role in doing something like doing it up better aesthetically, and also representing the major autosports better, that can be done simply by taking action Mike, you don't need a title to accomplish those things. If you want to step up, go for it, but you do not need to be the moderator to do so.
