Passing in F1
"More passing" NEQ "better racing".
Contrived gimmicks and rules strictly regulating their use is not the answer. Giving the trailing car a HUGE advantage down the longest straight isn't my idea of better racing.
Smaller wings, much less camber, fewer elements, underbody venturis and the forumula is FIXED and raceable without the need to give the trailing car a speed advantage.

well yes and no. kobiashi made alot of passes. but its still about the tyres, drive hard for 3,4 laps then nurse them for 10 more. in this race there was a combined teams total of 80 or more pit stops. this was a dry track with a few cars coming together and in for nose changes, the bulk of the stops were for tyres. i agree with ZDan.
