Preview of the 2009 Grid
Ok, There are soo many different vehicle changes this year, its incredible. Most notably is the loss of all the downforce/aerodynamics along the mid vehicle.
Secondly, the cars will get a boost button installed which consumes kinetic energy stored while braking.
Lastly, Racing Slicks have been brought back!!! yes.
For all the 2009 rules changes, here is a nice video link.

Saw that video a while back.....I love the part where he says slicks are "much more fun." I think "much more fun" translated from F1 driver's language to your average Joe sports car driver means "HOLY $*@$& OMGWTFBBQ FAAAAST!!!!"
This season should be interesting to say the least.

You are quite welcome. A soon as STR launches I will post their new chassis in pics as well.
Some observations of mine while doing this exercise are how different the teams shaped their noses. Some are narrow, straight and long....others shorter, wider and curved down...and the rest vary in between.
I also notice, or appear to notice some teams have their wings set higher than others. Also check out that wild rear diffuser on the McLaren.

i am surprised no one has really said anything about the 2 fins to the side of the helmet. it also seems that the fw31 has had the most visual changes over winter testing. imo
