MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi may be unable to take part in pre-season testing tomorrow after injuring himself while drawing a pair of curtains, the Times reported.

The 29-year-old motorcyclist, who tripped and fell onto a glass table, required stitches in his left hand and on a foot injury, the newspaper said.

Rossi sealed his sixth world MotoGP title last season. Sports Illustrated said in June that the Italian was the seventh- highest earning non-U.S. athlete with $34 million over the previous year.
