And please be aware of this
I used at Watkins Glen last year and it was awesome
Although The Glen is an amazing track, there are several good viewing spots where there is no speaker system
So this little app worked out perfect

You beat me to the punch by 35 minutes. Nice to have some racing again. It's been a while. You'll not be the only fan camped out in front of the TV on Saturday and Sunday, sound way up, subwoofer thumping on hardwood floor. I can't wait!

Scott Dixon got a little measure of revenge Friday morning in the final practice for the 51st Rolex 24 at Daytona. The open-wheel star set the fastest time in the No. 02 Target/TELMEX Chip Ganassi Racing BMW/Riley with a lap of 1:41.845 at Daytona International Speedway. Dixon qualified second for Saturday’s race behind teammate Scott Pruett, who was second Friday morning at 1:42.113 in the No. 01 TELMEX/Target Chip Ganassi Racing entry

Pruett on pole.

Scott Pruett’s drive for a record-tying fifth overall victory in the Rolex 24 At Daytona could not have a better start. The five-time Daytona Prototype champion in the Rolex Sports Car Series won the TOTAL Pole Award on Thursday as the fastest qualifier for the opening race of the 2013 season. Pruett, in the No. 01 TELMEX/Target Chip Ganassi Racing BMW/Riley, earned the pole with a lap of 1:40.553 (127.455 mph). It was his third career Rolex 24 pole – the first since 2005 – and 15th of his Rolex Series career. A victory this weekend would move Pruett into a tie with Hurley Haywood for the most overall wins in the Rolex 24.

Scott Dixon made it a Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates sweep of the front row with a lap of 1:40.646 (127.337 mph) in the No. 02 Target/TELMEX BMW/Riley while Dane Cameron made it a BMW/Riley sweep of the top three positions with a lap of 1:41.213 (126.624 mph) in the No. 42 Team Sahlen entry.

Awesome

I almost completely forgot about it...
I have been trying for days to get in touch with a friend via email, he is usually very quick to reply
Then it hit me, holy crap, it's the end of January, when's the race, has he gone to Florida???
You see this friend goes there every year, now I know why he is not responding

I would have been really pissed had I missed it

I need to get off to the microbrewery with my growlers so I can get prepared for camping out in the living room

I really wish there was a lot more TV coverage, so much crap on SPEED that could be dropped and so few people would care

Oh, BTW, BTC is on a bit before the 24 Hour starts
During the winter when SPEED runs British Touring Car I'm always so happy
For me, F1 is my #1 favorite, and then BTC has to be my #2

Same here. I forgot about it until just now. I'm an IndyCar guy. I've been to all 38 Long Beach GPs, all three days of most. Now we've got IndyCar back at Auto Club Speedway. I also love F1 -- watch all the races. Rolex Grand AM/American LeMans is right up there. We get an American LeMans race every year on the Saturday of Long Beach.I'd love to do to the 24 Hours of Daytona and walk around.

Wont be able to watch it. Will however set up the Continental Tire Series race for DVR though.

May the best team/driver win.

Although I'm not much of an Indy fan mostly because of the popularity of circle tracks, I am a huge fan of entire weekends
I find going to a race for race day only is just such a huge missed opportunity
I made every F1 race at Indy but one, and every one was at least a 4-day camping event just outside of the track
Watkins Glen is about 90-miles from my house, I'm almost always there for the GrandAm race, and to me, it's just another big camping weekend right at the track

The three days of the Long Beach GP is an incredible happening. Six classes of racing, next to a marina with the Queen Mary, temporary seating for 70,000 bridges everywhere, endless kinds of food and drink, auto expo in the convention center, rock bands and just all kinds of stuff. It's fun to walk around and see the racing from many different perspectives. I wait all year for this.

I think three days at any track is awesome
