Graham Rahal will be racing at Long Beach, which now has a field of 20 cars for the Champ Car finale.

That would certainly make sense, since he was a ChampCar driver. I hope IRL will consider adding/picking up Long Beach next year if at all possible.

Definitely want to see more road/street races. April 19/20 will be a great open wheel (and ALMS) race watching weekend

Rumor has it that Long Beach, Cleveland, and Edmonton will make it on next year's schedule.

IRL HAS picked up Long Beach. It's an IRL points race. It's split because of the date conflict with Motegi. When CART went bankrupt, Tony George was salivating at the chance to get Long Beach.

Do you mean for 2009/10? We already know it's happening this year April 19/20 is the split race with points.

Yeah, the Long Beach Grand Prix Association made a joint announcement with IRL last month.
