I'd say they should pick one of Wurz or de la Rosa, both very good developmental drivers. But de la Rosa's Spanish and I think he's been linked with Campos.

How about Bourdais? A lot of Americans know his name at least. Davidson would be nice, but he's probably leaning towards Manor/Virgin or Lotus. Sato?

I think they need someone experienced in at least one seat. I'd love to see Jacques back in F1...he's not American, but he's a North American at least!

I saw Ken Anderson on windtunnel a few months ago and he said that they would like to have one of the drivers be an American with a 'well-known name'.

Kob will probably be racing for toyota next year seeing as how both Trulli and Glock will be leaving.

If USF1 is going to put an American driver in the car, I think they should give Speed the drive since he does have (although limited) F1 experience.

Is the talk about JV serious?!? I would not mind seeing him in F1 again but after all these years off, I doubt he still has what it takes to do well in F1.

And Tanner Foust?! I like him a lot from the Speed TV show he hosts and he is a very good professional driver; however, I really doubt he has the skills for F1 racing. He certainly would bring some character to the grid though...

usf1 probably only want one us driver first because alexander rossi will be competing in gp2 next season, so they are probably keeping an eye on him. as for drivers for the 2010 season, wurz would be a good candidate for development purposes as previously said

I'm reading some stuff that say's the USF1 team will not happen - they're trying to sell their entry, they're not crash testing (when all other teams are), they're not attending fia meetings......
I hope this is not true

I hope they make it on to the grid next season. I thought they had backing from YouTube founder Chad Hurley
