Default USF1 driver wish list

USF1 will be holding a press conference tomorrow at noon. Peter Winsor indicated he would like 2 American driver, however these driver will not be annouced tomorrow.
So, in your opinion - who would be the likely canidcates? Who would you like to see?
- Graham Rahal
- Ryan Hunter Reay
- A.J. Allmindinger
- Marco Andretti
- Patrick Long
- Jonathan Summerton
- Scott Speed
- A current NASCAR driver

My picks would be Rahal & Allmindinger

I think a list without Kyle Busch is just not a list. I think Kyle Busch has the makeup and skill to be a GREAT F1 driver.

My short list would be Kyle Busch, Scott Speed and Marco Andretti.

I revise my picks:
Scott Speed & Graham Rahal.
Scott Speed gives the team some experience

scott speed won't go back to F1, almendinger already said he's not interested.

its going to be rahal and andretti. and they're going to get their asses whooped, even if they were in a Ferrari or Mclaren.

Andretti is struggling in A1GP, where the cars are identical.

they're good drivers, not stelar.

scott speed was the best America had, he never got a good chance in F1.

he raced in europe and won in formula renault, was competitive in gp2... never got that win unfortunately. Buemi raced gp2 with ART and did crap. Nothing what lewis hamilton or nico rosberg did.

racing in europe is a completely different level of racing. teh bar is much higher over there. and thats what americans or drivers from other nationalities that race here and then go to europe don't do well.

friend was an engineer for eddie cheever's IRL team, Scott Speed did a test with them years ago and he told me 1 of the smartest drivers i've talked to. Knew how the car worked, knew how to thoroughly interpret telemetry, etc...

god speed USF1. if you announce danica i will drive up and kill peter.

I can't even begin to imagine where they think they will come up with sponsorship money given today's economy.
even if they run as an economy $50-100 million budget.

danica partick has wrecked more cars than a delta 88 in a demolition derby
and i have mixed feelings on scott speed i think maybe if he would've gotten a chance with a better car he would maybe have been competitive, but no one knows
