I think that the next two years will be very telling. With how many restriction the FIA is putting into play this year, and what I can only guess the next few years, I think that team is as important as driver right now. However RB has the man designing the car that most everyone agrees is the best in the game, so I like Vettel's chances.

I agree. Vettel is an extraordinary drive but not uniquely so... if Button and Vettel swap cockpits mid-season I bet we'd see the same magic coming from Button as we have seen from Sebastian...

While I tend to agree with you. There is no real evidence of it. While it does seem that the RB7 is the superior car, It could just be that Vettel is that much better than everyone else. I think that it would be fun if for one race per year, the teams are all given identical GP2 cars, and the only thing that they are allowed to adjust would be down force, tire pressure, and alignment. It would give everyone a better idea of who is really the best driver. My money would be on Kob...

I'm a huge Button fan, but I have to disagree with this. Button is a great driver, he has a smooth driving style that can preserve the tires, and he's great in the rain. However, I don't think he is a pure speed guy who can always out qualify his teammates, get 110% out of a car, or a great over taker.

If Button was on RB, I think it would be a closer battle with Mark Webber.

As for Vettel, I think he has what it takes to be the next Schumi, but I'm not sure Red Bull can give him a dominate car for that long of a period to get 7 titles.

I'd say he already is,
he's well on his way to his second consecutive title. ( unless the rules changes before silverstone really mees up red bull)

i just see what vettle's done in his f1 career, he has alot of history with him, and i do believe he has it in him, as much as it pains me to say this, as i'm a ferrari fan, vettle is going to be wdc this year...the car isn't the most important partremember what he did in a sauber and a turdo rosso?

It would be interesting to ponder this if Schumi was also driving for Red Bull. Its just way early too tell.
