Default wow, this is surprising

Ferraris response to Williams declining to let Schumi test.

http://www.ferrari.com/English/News/Pages/...discretion.aspx

Indiscretion

Maranello, 4th August 2009 - Guess who opposed the test with the F60? A team that hasn't won anything for years and yet didn't pass over the opportunity to demonstrate once more a lack of spirit of fair play.
Just for the record, the Scuderia Ferrari had given its approval to let Alguersuari test, but it seems even in this instance someone decided to stick to the precise wording of the regulations.

Funny - Williams is one of the teams benefiting from the diffuser rule loop hole and have openly said they will ignore next years forced shutdown.

Exactly how do Williams expect to get around that rule?

And so the cost cutting disasters begins....

i find the reasoning behind the redbulls refusal are valid and logical. ferrari shouldnt have extra testing that other teams are not allowed to do. MS can handle it with his experience, this is not enough reason to give them a chance for more testing.

You guys are not getting the point. Read that response from Ferrari. It sounds very unprofessional!! Almost like a fan of the team wrote it.

Yeah, the Ferrari PR manager must be spending too much time on the Internet. It's about what I'd expect from an exchange between two fanbois of rival teams.

Reminded me of something Flavio would say.

Wasn't me!

It reads more like an internal email that was not supposed to go public...but did!
