02 Sebring Silver "Build Thread" by Jae2k
S'goin on yall. I've been creepin' around this site quite some time now, looking for ideas and inspiration as to what direction I wanted to take my AP1 in. Having owned the car for almost a year now I've finally caught up on some of the basics surrounding the ownership of these cars and I'm glad I did because there's an increasingly long list of items that I'm glad I didn't decide to do to this car (no ragrets lol). While probably not as entertaining as some of the show-car and track-life inspired threads on here, I'm content with myself in keeping it simple with a little jazz in the near future. I'll also be looking forward to posting informational DIYs (youtube videos?) that I have personally looked for but couldn't find so as to add to the wealth of knowledge that this site provides already.
Sidenote: I've partially also always wanted to start some sort of blog so this might be a little bit of everything, not so much "building" lol.
Here's sort of a baseline for now. I bought the car bone stock in the winter of 2014 and was fortunate enough to pick up a paint-matched hardtop in the spring of 2015. Also have some OEM style seat covers by Clazzio with the leather insert. Real clean looking and preserve my stock seats nicely. Besides that, there is little to report although I do have some parts that I picked up laying around. I might get around to documenting the installation of these parts eventually.
