Installed a new rear view mirror. Looking at the old one just made be sad because the reflective material was peeling off.

It seems like one of the previous owners hacked the front wheel liners. Any idea why? Would this to be accommodate a customer bumper? I took the bumper off to remove the headlamps and service them. I noticed hardware missing in the process and these hacked wheel liners. They are not very expensive so I am going to replace them.

Wondering why someone would do this.

That's how I trimmed my fender liners after getting my fenders rolled. Removed the part of the liner that would rub on my wheels. It doesn't look like your fenders were rolled though so trimming the liners like that doesn't make sense. Maybe the previous owner needed new liners cheap and got some trimmed ones?

I may be interested in your old trimmed liners if they fit AP2.

New wheel liners installed that have all the proper hardware and cover the whole fenders to protect them from moisture. Restored the brackets that support the headlights too. Should get back the painted inserts for the headlisghts this week and get the front end back together with the proper hardware and the impact cushion that was missing.

Headlights done! I love the JS2K clear side markers. The interior bezels were repainted. Sanded and restored the covers. I love the look of the clear side markers. Newly refinished rims with new Pilot Sport 4Ss on too. Can't wait for spring!

Default Replaced Clutch Master and Slave cylinders

Replaced the master and slave cylinders. Both were leaking. The master a fair amount. The leakage took the paint off the clutch pedal arm.

so i refinished the clutch pedal arm. Much better.

The fan knob was flaking and looked terrible at night when the interior lights and headlights are on. Replaced the fan knob. This was a lot more work than I though it would be. Followed the directions here to get the gauge surround out.

When removing the HVAC cover from the unit there is an internal screw that needs to be removed before you can pop the cover off. Much swearing occurred when I was trying to pry that cover off before it occurred to me to look for an internal screw.

Pulled off the driver side door card to replace the master window switch. It looked sad and I think is starting to fail. Replaced it with a new/used that was in good condition.

The door handle I noticed was a little looser than the passenger side. Looking at the door insert I noticed that the plastic where the door handle screws into from the back was broken. Did a temporary fix. But found a new/use door insert on ebay. Hopefully it will be as good as it looked in the pictures.

I know the S2000 stereo is not top notch. Especially in the AP1s. Mine is an early AP1 so it only has the one speaker in the door, it does not have the separate tweeter. When I had door card off I discovered this POS....

I think it was sounding extra terrible because of this hack job. I got some new Kenwood speakers but realized the speaker seals are missing too. I will get some new ones and the Kenwoods should fit perfectly. The factory connector was cut off.

Does anyone know how I can figure out what type of original connector that was? I would like to put the original connector back on to the harness. If you know I would greatly appreciate it!
