Default Another LS1 Powered s2000

Hi guys,

Figured I would share my project car. Some of you may know my good friend xyster. The pictures of his current project can be seen in an earlier post on s2ki here: Second Time Around..

At some point we decided it would be a good idea to start 2 project cars at once. Not sure what we were thinking.

Anyway... below are shots from my installation. Like our other project car, this one is also using an LS1 from an '04 GTO. The car is an '01 with AP2 front/rear bumpers. Purchased it with a blown F20c and have spent a TON of time bringing the car back up to 'snuff after having a rough life to this point.

Enjoy the pics! You can see it in person at NOPI in September.

Just a big 'ol jar of Vaseline. It's actually surprising at how "at home" these motors look when you see them in person.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I'll post more updates in the coming weeks.

I could never get it through NYS inspection... unless I could have a stand alone OBD2 emulator that let DMV think it still had an unmodified 4cyl.

If you already own the car, absolutely. It also depends on what other projects you want to take on while the car is apart. Those can add up quick.
