To summarize this situation:
- you appear to be about 17-18 (assuming that's you in the pic)
- parents bought you a brand new $30k sports car for "good grades"
- additional ~$8k in top-of-the-line mods added
- you have years of experience in kart racing (I'm guessing funded by parents as well)
- your dad drives an F40. holy shit.
- you also appear to have a very nice camera
- your location is Laguna Niguel. I'm guessing you live in Bear Brand? I know the area well, most of the houses out there are gigantic mansions.
- I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say your parents are paying for your accident repairs/insurance as well. And your "consolation" amuse bumper.
Again, not trying to be a dick, but I hope you are fully aware of how insanely fortunate you are.
Meanwhile, I had to work as a janitor for 3 years to afford my S2000.

Do you actually think the S2000 is on some type of pedestal? The new accord cost just as much.
Being spoiled has to do with your parents buying everything that you want for you. With that said, some people just might not be into cars.
Kart racing is pretty cool man, get yourself out to some autox. Great way to learn the car without beating on it too hard. I want to get into some autox myself this spring. Good luck with the car!
Better yet, get some track experience. Autox won't teach you high speed car control, with elevation changes in the road.

. I do not live in Bear Brand, nor do I live in a "gigantic mansion." I am paying the insurance deductible, and if you'd read what I wrote you'd realize that the replica Amuse bumper is being used instead of the stock front bumper + lip. The price of those items covered the price of the Amuse rep, so the Amuse rep is basically being bought by insurance instead of a replacement stock bumper and lip.
I am aware of how fortunate I am, and I don't need to be lectured about it with your bullet point list. Thanks for reading
Guys lay off of him. I'm just as jealous as all of you but he's not flaunting his fortunate situation in our face and laughing... he's just sharing photos
I like what you've done with the car.

My dad has an F40 because of how hard he has worked in life. He was born in Ghana (yes, the African one) in a lower middle-class family. He had to flee the country to England when a military coup threatened the college he was attending. He's well aware of what hardships are, and after visiting Ghana with him so am I. I'd like to point out that the F40 is a financial asset for us, not a toy. I posted it up here because I figured car people would enjoy it, not use it as a way to flame me or my family
