Default Dr Jekyll's (re)Build

So about 6 months ago i went vroom vroom psshtt POW. turns out i broke the rings in 2 and 3. i decided that i would just sleeve the motor and put all new fun bits in the motor. well then i figured that id finish my wire tuck while i had the motor out, one thing led to another and i decided to do a v mount setup. so here i am now with just about all the sheet metal and fab work done. Ive got quite a bit still to go but here is my progress.

so before we get on with all the pics, here is a pic of my car just before it broke:




and so i began to tear it down

on the stand



Broken rings



hmmmmmmm......



picked up another one of these



a hole



Cut out the old crossmember, made a new one





Cut out some more stuff and made a new lower mount for the radiator





made some lower mounts for the rad, using the stock style mounting



started making endtanks for the new IC









welding more stuff

started making the ducting





air splitter



stitch welded engine bay and started making patches



Cut some stuff and welded some stuff









So that brings us all the way up to today. the motor is at the machine shop and i should have most all the metal work done soon. ill be updating this thread with my progress.

awesome man.. keep us posted. I likin the v mount. really wantin to see more of were your going with it. I did what i guess you could call a / mount. haha dont have the intercooler in yet. to broke for that.

cant wait to see more.

subscribed. I cant wait to see this done, and how that air panel is going to look on the outside like that for the IC.
