Yep, I have that exhaust and love it! Unfortunately, I won't be at the August C&C

Tuning Update -

On this past Tuesday, my mechanic and I set out to Asheville to see Joseph @ Redline Performance for a tune. After arriving and getting the injectors / MAP sensor in, the tuning commenced. The conditions were quite hot & humid at a balmy 102F / 53%, not to mention we were at approximately at 2250' elevation (compared to ~630' where I live). We only ended up making right at 10psi, and after searching for possible vacuum leaks (and finding none) we're contributing the boost level to the weather / elevation.

Final numbers were 387 hp / 242 tq @ 8400 RPM. The tuner said the car was running extremely healthy, and I have plenty of fuel left to upgrade in the future if I want to.

Full list of items added for the kit:

Vortech V2 (actually have no idea what trim, the plaque was removed for some reason)
All fittings converted to AN
3.2" pulley by ASP
ID1000 Injectors
FB 340lph fuel pump
Omni 4 bar MAP
Comp Clutch stage 5 - the jury is still out here...it feels great with the tiny amount of driving I've done on it, but I'll withhold final judgement until I've got ~1k miles on it

I kept the HKS 75mm single I've had for awhile, and I'm running a 70mm Berk test pipe. The header is OEM.

Someone may mention that I'm overspinning the blower a bit @ 8400, and that's true...however I don't plan on using the last few hundred rpm very often at all. It was more or less just giving me some headroom if needed, and trying for a slightly higher peak number.

Here's a short dyno video of the last pull:

nice evan. 387/242 is good numbers. you'll more than likely make more once the weather cools off. I know mine runs stronger during the colder months.

Thanks Yves. It's been a fun process, but I'm just ready to drive her again!

I'll have to try and make the next Greenville C&C...

Remember man, it's not about a number, it's about drivability. Car looks great.

^I agree 100%. I think the greed just gets in the way lol. Kinda wanted to be able to truthfully say I made 400... but either way I'm more concerned about longevity and reliability. Frankly, I'm still concerned about heat soak. I very well may end up needing to run an aftermarket hood to let some heat escape.

No real updates after the dyno day. Just driving it whenever I get the chance, and having a lot of fun:

Need to rotate those center caps around so they line up with the decal...
