Question Dressed2Kill's changing things up thread!

So back in February I decided to sell my gold Advan Sa3v2's, this set off a chain reaction of changes to me car that are not yet complete. The main reason I sold my gold wheels was to get another set with more aggressive sizes.

The "old wheels"

About a month ago these showed up, Advan had told me they would not be here until August. I was going to get metallic red for my first set, but I found a good deal on the gold set still in the boxes from a person that had sold their s2000 before the wheels had got here.

Front test fit with out tires, I was using this to gauge how much I need to flare the front fenders.

Now its off to the "bodywork guy's" house, once there the self drilling screws holding the fender on are replaced with M6 riv-nut inserts and machine screws. We also bonded the inner and outer fender together.

Neil doing his thing.

The front fenders are really starting to take shape. Note how the front of the fender has been cut and flared out to match the rest of the flare.

We also decided to fix the dents I created when I rolled the rear fenders acouple of years ago.

Anyone with a large wing take note of the dent we fixed above the taillight in the picture below. That happened when my Voltex wing caught the hose leaving a DIY car wash and yanked the gun into the side of my car .

I wanted to bring the the flare down into the bumper and then have it taper away for a really clean look. Before any bumper modifications.

After a few cuts the side is twisted into place and clamped for fiberglassing.

This is how the bumper was fitting at the fenders before we did any work to it. The fitment was not acceptable.
drivers side

passenger side

After some grinding on the drivers side and a few cuts on the passenger side we got it fitting great. We spent a couple of hours on these areas and finishing up where the sides of the bumper are flared, almost ready for primer.

Getting all taped up!

Base coat...

Now its time for buffing.

Canards on an Amuse bumper! I have not seen anyone do that before.
