The manual says not to exceed 15mm of adjustment from their pre-set settings, which is think is kind of bullshit. My shocks are set to match my previous ride height to within a millimeter, and still maintain full suspension travel. I'm at much more than a finger gap in the rear and front, but that's more due to my alignment settings (-3.3 degrees camber in front,-3.0 rear) than my ride height. The car is pretty damn low. If I aligned the car looking to make the wheels and tires fit flush with the body, I guarantee I wouldn't have more than a single finger gap at all corners.
So, to answer your question, yes. =]

As a fun aside, here's how the car has looked throughout my ownership period, from start to finish:

Probably the best the car looked.

Thanks player. Yeah, losing those eBay fogs was a massive relief. The previous owner secured them with wood screws, and they only worked for about a month before they cut out. Hated those things.

I agree with you. I think the car looked best with just the lip and the BBSs, although I did like the car without a lip too. I'm on the hunt for a very specific set of BBSs which hopefully will be the last set of wheels I buy for this car. As soon as I see a set pop up, I'm buying them.

Thanks David. I'm happy with how the car looks for now. I'm likely going to stick with the AP1 oem front, too. It's funny, everyone seems to always rush out and put AP2 bumpers on their AP1s, or aftermarket bumpers. Why? It's a clean, timeless, sharp design that, I think, will age waaaaay better than the AP2 front. If I can find an OEM lip (a real one) then the front of the car will be 100% done. I'd like to eventually do an ASM duckbill spoiler as well, but that's not a priority.
Currently, I'm working with my friend Shandelle at V8 Roadsters on developing and testing some new parts for the S2000. Things we're thinking about making are a lightweight, affordable brake kit, a four-wheel two-piece rotor kit, adjustable billet upper control arms, billet lower control arms, and possible a tubular front and rear subframe. If anyone is at all interested in any of that, feel free to drop a comment here, as we're in the product development stage, and we could use feedback from other owners. Here's an example of his tubular subframe, billet control arms, Wilwood brake kit, and Ohlins TTX on his NA Miata shop car:
