hey guys im selling a brand new real j's racing valve cover, the only reason its not on my car is because mines is not an ap1, and didnt realize this till i got it

 

Wow it looks more like an AP1 V2 if there was ever a ver 2.

This looks like it would be perfect for an AP1 guy looking for a valve cover that looks like it uses an AP2 pcv.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just going by what I see in the picture.

Can't you still use it if you blocked off the unused cam sensor hole with a cam sensor? assuming the one on top is in the same place as the AP2 sensor hole.

 

so it only fits ap1's ? did not know that...

 

AP1's have two cam sensors and AP2's only have one.

 

i tried applying it on my car and the holes don't match at all im assuming it has to fit the ap1

 

It is an AP1 valve cover but I thought the only difference was the pcv and the second cam sensor.
The valve cover doesn't sit right because of the spark plug tubes so maybe that's why it didn't seem like it would fit? Not saying it does fit though because I've never tried to install an AP1 valve cover on an AP2.

 

I have. It works. Only for 04 and 05 though.

 

So only an 04 & 05 AP2 valve cover will work with an AP1? 06+ uses 1 cam sensor? I'm considering this or just a reg. AP2 to utilize the AP2 PVC.

Since the one the OP is selling has an AP2 PVC, I'm assuming it also uses the updated baffling? (Never looked under an AP2 valve cover before)

 

yeah. basically this will work on s2000's up to 06.

 

So there's an AP2 v1 and v2 valve cover. Good to know, thanks Joey
