Anyone ever think about putting non-name brand parts on their car even if its purpose-oriented? I'm looking at their Full-Race replica manifold and I can't help but to think that it'll function nearly the same for a fraction of the price. The manifold is 350$ compared to the full race one which people sell used for like 1200.. I figured if I grinded off the OBX label, stripped the chrome crap and had the entire thing cryo-treated it would at least be up to par with the full-race one.

Any thoughts or flames for a ricer like me?

I would say save your money for a real full race, I don't might to use cheap headers or exhaust on NA setup. But for FI, I don't even want try it.
