Nice bedframe. Do you have the legs to raise it? Just bought a mattress yesterday too. Man mattresses are pricey now a days. Does it break down to individual pieces or is the last pic the furthest it breaks down?

Yes, it comes with the legs & it's maybe around 8" in height. It can breakdown to individual pieces & the slats are on a metal frame which folds in half for easy transportation. They are held together with allen bolts & very good quality hinges integrated with the brushed metal. This bed frame is high quality & the wood is very sturdy; not like the ikea shit. Think of it as JDM for your bedroom

Nice. I tried the memory foam but wasnt a big fan of it. Got the Simmons Beautyrest Pacific Series 800PT for a pretty good deal since my buddy is a store mgr at a sleep train.

Do you know the measurements of the headboard? Thats the only piece im concerned with it fitting into my 5 series with the rear seat folded down. Not interested in the mattress since i just bought one. Havent bought a bedframe yet for my place in LA so im still hunting for one.

Yeah, the mattress will be picked up on Thursday by the delivery guys & I was just throwing that in as a bonus for someone in the instance they needed a temp mattress - I wouldnt recommend it to anyone really since its not as supportive as it was when I first bought it.

This would be awesome if you pick it up; Im sure you'll like it if it meets your criteria

I want to break it down tomorrow, so maybe you might want to check it out first before I do? My place is a mess, changing things up for 2012!

 

That'd be great. The trunk starts off wide, but narrows a bit where it opens into the backseat and then widens out again at the backseat. I'm worried it won't fit in that part that narrows up.

When are you free this week? I don't have much free time in the evening left since i'm winding down to my last few days here.

I did get hooked up pretty well. So glad I got that hook up cause I literally paid about 50% of the price for the mattress and got a few other stuff like bed covers and such thrown in for cheap as well.

I think you can fit it in the backseat horizontal if it doesnt fit through the trunk.
