I'm in! I'll be in Financial close so this'll really scare my boss. lol. It does mean that I won't be able to get there until late Friday due to work unless a miracle happens.

Hi all! Thinking about joining the BMT tour this fall. Going to be my first one. Just recently acquired a 06 ap2. It came with nexen 5000 plus all season tires brand new. Will I be able to run with this with no issues? Don't want to upgrade unless its needed.

Fellow BMTers, the thread has been updated and the hotel information has been added. Don't forget to call and get your group rate booked NOW! We are already HALF WAY FULL as there are 25 cars on the list!

Make sure you don't forget to get your car checked over to be sure that your fluids, brakes and tires are in good shape and ready for the tour. It may seem early at this point, but if there is something that needs to be addressed, you don't want to have to deal with it last minute, either.

We're so excited to have this underway and can't wait to see you all there!

1. Congrats on your recent S2000 purchase! These are some of the best cars to have fun in, especially on the back roads of Arkansas!
2. The Nexen N5000+ tire works well for your standard driving around and will most likely do okay on this tour, but you will want to make sure you aren't over-driving the car. Your tires are the only-est thing in the world connecting your car to the pavement, so they're pretty important. The S2000 comes equipped from the factory with Bridgestone tires that are rated at a 140 treadwear, so the car is meant to be able to utilize a pretty sticky tire from the factory. The 560-600 treadwear rating of the N5000+ gives it a great lifespan, but sacrifices in high performance traction. That being said, I think you'll do fine so long as you're able to keep it between the mustard and the mayonnaise. (More on the condiments later)
