My friend recently got a 2005 silverstone and just broke it in.

One question is how do you set the shift light?

And when we were VTEC'ing on the freeway i was keeping an eye on the speedometer and it didnt come on ?

does it come on in a certain gear, or is this because of AP2's? I have never noticed this in my 2001 either since half a year of ownage..

are you talking about the redline area blinking when you get close to redline/fuel cutoff?

 

there is no shift light???
the tach blinks in the redline region when you are redlining the engine though......

 

yeah that little light .. nothing goes on we tried it a few hours ago and nothing blinked. Checked both our manuals, u can see a little circle thingy on the dash right next to the box with the time and miles but it doesnt go on, we even hit rev limiter a few times.

any one have any input?

 

You must be talking about the LED for the factory alarm. I have it working with my aftermarket alarm. It's not a shift light.
