umm it's not so bad as you make it out to be...could be worst..it's not like you were in multiple car accidents in the last few months or something *knocks on wood*...things just happen?

Good things are always proceeded by times of bad.

Welcome to living the dream, price of admission, some headaches.

Keep the car, smile, you're getting a new bumper and come out to some of the meets.

these things are small things. i've had to change both of those things on both of my s2k's. i guess you can say its kind of a maintanance issue.

also call my friend sunny at franklin autobody. they do good work as well.

My prelude was cursed:

2nd month of ownership: blew a clutch
4th month of ownership: had my keys stolen
4th month of ownership: blew a headgasket, threw 2 rods. Replaced engine.
10 months of ownership: blew a clutch
12 months of ownership: spun a bearing, threw a rod, valves crunched. replaced engine
12 months of ownership: mechanic didn't torque spark plugs, threading on head got screwy, had head re-threaded, too little too late, engine blew.

gave it away to a friend, it was just a huge paperweight.

friend replaced engine, and tranny. One week later, tranny and engine blew.

Literally, haunted.

About the windshield rear view mirror not fitting very well, usually it's because the OEM rear view windshield mount is angled. The ones that come with PPG windshield are not causing the rear view mirror to sit slightly higher compared to what its supposed to be...

just my $0.02... =)

shit happens...

Don't let these things stop you from enjoying the car. Things are always bound to happen no matter how careful you are...

I agree. Seems like I could do/have the same things happen in my truck but it's no big then.......you'll get used to it too.

Welcome. Now there's 4 of us GPW/Black combos (the best color combo by the way) around.........
