You are officially invites to go driving with me either as a passenger or a tandem/group drive. You will not be bored this is guaranteed.
Thanks for the invite... I really have to find time to take the "s" on a drive.. But don't u think it'll be even more fun with the nsx.. Lol
I drive on Friday and Saturday nights normally. During the days on the weekend also. I've never driven an NSX, but I imagine it might be fun too.

The reason I see why you're bored is because you don't track or do spirited drives!
lol... i really wish i could... but my work and school schedule makes it hard for me to hit the tracks.. and im always too afraid to f@#ked by the cops on any mountain runs

and i was planning on doing a turbo build something this spring or summer..

What makes an NSX any difference? Sounds like you'll get bored of it again because you won't use its raw potential

Buy a radar detector, they cost the same as a ticket

Keep the S, I like your builds even though they don't last long lol. Just my .02
got a radar already, right after i got a speeding ticket... doesnt really work on the mountains cuz not much cops uses radars on twisty roads... its hard to say... and ap1 just doesnt compare to an ap2.. lol those .2 liters make a really noticable difference... its pretty depressing knowing no matter how much spent... my ap1 still makes less than a stock ap2... lmfao
Learn how to drive. Then you'll understand why the 0.2 Liters doesn't truly matter and handling, rawness and set up matters more. Invest in yourself as a driver then you'll enjoy your S2k and your NSXGTRFERRARILAMBO WHATEVER more. If you don't upgrade yourself you're just another hard parker in a nice car. Sorry if this seems harsh its 4 am and I"m way groggy. HAHA

If you are bored just go buy a GTR!

j/k - Frankly there is no car more fun than the s2000, yes I love my NSX too but it's certainly not as much fun always worrying about it and being so low it's impossible to drive to most places on a daily basis!

You just need to spend more money ~ aka Supercharge it, do more drives or just more mods in general. This is one car I have yet to be bored with and I do get bored easily. I'm on my 9th one now.... or is that 10th, can't keep track

S2KVee, I was in the same position as you. I posted my AP2 for sell last month on CL but then took it down a minute after and noticed some s2ki members saw my post and were like wtf!?? lol. Anyhow, I realized how much money I've invested, time I've spent on it making the car look perfect and how many new friends I made and fun exciting drive events I've experienced and thought to myself, if I give up the S2000, then I would lose all of that, especially, I won't have an S2000 to go to the Milpitas meets anymore or join the yearly 35+ S2000 drives. Also, if I were to sell my S2000, then I know I won't find another AP2 like mine(Rob's Maxrev.net car w/ flared fenders) so I've become attached to it. I know even if I get another AP2, then I know it won't be as clean as mine, especially w/ all the custom parts put into it and the people that dedicated their time to helping and ensure it's the best S2000 that it can be. Also, I came to realize that even with an NSX-T, I won't have as much fun as the S2000 is. Driving various NSX's, it felt great, classy, exotic, like sittin' on top of the world for a few hours, then when I went back to sitting in the E-Class, I felt like shiet(like being high on drugs and then crashing for a few hours. I needed more NSX time...wanted to get back to that high. But after driving the NSX for the 2nd, 3rd time, u become numb to it like it was just another daily driver car. I love the Formula Red the best, don't care about any color, but I realized I didn't like how there is a blind spot on the NSX, also I don't drive as fast with it since the blind spot I had to check 3-4 times everytime I make a lane change since I became hesistant. Also, even if you get an NSX, either 91-93, 94-97, 98-02, then still...it's not the exact NSX-T that I've always wanted, the 03+ w/ the projector headlights and the extra 100hp, Brembo BBK's etc. So I decided, to keep my S2000, and save up for the 03+ NSX which is in the $40-$60k. I just think to myself to aim higher(double the stakes).I realized I could get another clean AP2 in less than a year and don't want to miss all the fun and exciting drives that this s2ki community sets up meanwhile working on my career and saving up. I don't want to especially miss out the fun w/ Rob-2, Mac, Justin, Joedie, Chris, Lisa, Simon Chan, Sam Tan, Aldwin, Vu, Michon, Blue, Jenn, Omar, Calvin, Erica, Stephen, Arthur etc...and all the people I forget their names or can't think of right now. lol Anyhow, NSX is cool, but I'm definitely keeping my AP2 and probably going to get an NSX late next year as well. The S2000 is just too much fun to give up on. Maybe it's because you have an AP1? Try an AP2 or CR? I my AP2...just get so much attention and compliments.

Here is a craigslist post I put in last month. I'm just posting this up for fun 'temporarily' which is what was on my mind at that time... Thank God I still have it! Don't want to lose the fun w/ everyone in this awesome community.

Maybe, you simply need an AP2 or a CR, just because you are not satisfied with how the AP1 cosmetically looks? But I'm pretty sure your conversion met that. You should come to the drives that Chris is setting up(many of them) soon and you might change your mind

You don't know what you've got until it's gone. I'm looking to hold an S2k for you until you come to your senses.

I can't wait to be back in Bay and see my favorite S2k'ers again. I would love to be minutes away from Milipitas meets, local AutoX and multiple tracks and beautiful weather.

Here in Yuma, the only fun I can have with my car is autoX 2 1/2 hours away either at FIR or San Diego, or an occasional track day in Chuckwalla, and also that right hand turn from intersection of 32nd and 3E coming on base that is kind of scary because of the curb...anyway, NOBODY else in Yuma has an S2000 except for another solo guy who is about to move back home and a rusting Silverstone AP2 that was wrecked and is now collecting spider web and rust. I put a car cover on it and secured it with some boulders. I hurt my soul to look at it.

Anyway, you will miss it as soon you sell it, I can guarantee it. Just park your car somewhere safe where you can't see it or touch it for a few days and you will see what I'm talking about.

Yea like Kevin said.. It's an ap1 with 50% converted to ap2. I practically got all the visual ap2 converted.. The remaining 50% is the transplant.. Engine, drivetrain, tranny Is still ap1... To the everyone else, they can't even tell lol.. But if u are truly thinking of getting back to the s2 scene.. Let me know.. We could possibly work out a deal.. Even if the nsx is green

I find it Funny how everyone says practically the same thing. No disrespect to the fellow members or any specific model owners. A car is a car, no matter how much spent, it still will always be just a car.. Regardless if it's fast, slow, amazing handleing, it's still just a car. I'm not the type of person who's gonna put their car on a trophy case and claim it's the fastest or the most fun. Different people have different driving style, because one may not be as hardcore as tracking it ever other weekend, it does not mean the owner doesn't know how to enjoy the car. Of course if I could afford it, I would like something like a damn lambo but it's not like I'm asking for something not realistic. I've always like the body style of the nsx. It's a personal affection. Now I only have my s for a little over a year, from start to now, it's not like I had it parked in my drive way collecting dust. I daily drove it. And when it's not being driven, it's being worked on, changing things up left and right.. Some of the members who actually know me could vouch for that. So I have my reasons of getting bored, and getting bored in this case doesn't mean, damn my car feels like a grandmas station wagon. Lol That's not my expression... Everytime I look at my car, I do see the hardwork and funds spoiled on this machine but at the end of the day, it's still an s2000, and there still millions of them out there which just takes the uniqueness out of it...

For those whose enjoyment comes from spirited events or drives.. I envy you.. My lifestyle is different from yours. Busy with work and school, I just can't find the time to drive 30mins to 1hr for a cruise through the mountains.. It was fun while it lasted but in my point of view.. Eventually it would be time to move on....

For the past month or so, i would say I have only driven my "s" for 3 days.. I can honestly say, I don't miss it as much as most would. Atleast not yet.. But driving my daily beater (integra) around just made me realize, a car is just a car.. I drive the integra as I drive the s2000, really makes no difference, it gets me from point a to b. Now the attention is difference and obviously the driving style but u guys gotta understand, I live in the city, it's damn stoplights to stop signs.. I can only go up to 25mph before slowing down again lol.. So what I'm trying to say is that although the cars are totally different, my main purpose of it will always remain the same.. Point "a" to "b".. It's just a self satisfaction of owning a car I've always wanted.

I appreciate you guys opinion but in the end... The final decision will be the one which matters.. It's just a matter of when I'll be ready to let go or when the right deal comes around..
