Default DD11 Drifting in the S2

just got back from Drift Day 11 at irwindale speedway.. the high sweeper drift was probably the most intimidating cause of the CEMENT WALL! Doh! i tried it, failed, spun out like 3 times! i didn't get to tape it but check out the other ones. to view it, you might want to download it. (right click) or try clicking it. it might work..

looks like drifting to me.. and possibly going to the 17th. we'll see. if the 240 is ready by then, i will. i don't really plan on drifting the s2 anymore. it's not really designed for it. it's probably one of the hardest cars to drift.

Yeah well I didn't mean to offend you or anything. You were definetly drifting. I more meant props for even attempting to drift the s2 because most wouldn't even try. I got my car drifting pretty good during DD7. I wouldn't know how hard it is compared to other cars, cause the s2 is my one and only RWD car.

that looks like it's pretty hard on the car. Have you modified your: clutch, LSD, special tires, etc.?

it is super hard on the car. the oil cap popped off, the spoon cover got loose and i lost 3 of the screws that held it down. stock lsd, stock clutch but i didn't do too much "clutch-kicking" cause the ground was pretty new so it was like it was on ice. and i didn't use my regular tires.. i used my stocks in the rear.

this was the first time i drifted the s2. probably wouldnt do it anymore until the silvia gets out of the shop. it's just not really worth drifting cause it's a bit TOO snappy.. it's fun tho. if you do decide to "learn" with the s2, you'll be a PRO when you go to a more stable car, like the silvia.
