Exhaust Problem
so when im taking hard left turns i hear this rattling noise and ive always wondered what it was. looks like i found it slowly eating away at my racepipe. this only happens on really hard left turns. im not sure if i heard this at the track but i dont think i did... only on the touge where i usually go test setups. what do you guys think? have any of you had this problem before?

It looks like it can move quite a bit.
Did the guy that made it use aftermarket hangers? Some of those rubber hangers are far too strechy.

i have the same problem, tried everything to move that flange away from the driveshaft, but it still manage to hit the flange. im pretty sure that the cause is the diff twist a little in a hard turn, so to fix this i think a set of the diff ring thing will do the trick
im utilizing oem hangers but the diff hanger for the exhaust is a modded oem hanger. i put a hose clamp around the rubber hanger so it cannot stretch anymore. playground-the, im not sure what a diff ring is...
The gold things on the diff mount.
It doesn't hurt to keep the diff a bit more secure but that's not your issue.

thanks Mac for the pic. what i did to see what cause the exhuast to hit the shaft when i turn was putting a jack under left side of the diff, and jack it up a little. I could see the diff twisting quite a bit. and im sure its meant to do so. Its something that i have to live with, since i like the exhaust im running right now and other than putting a set of diff ring in all i could think of is to stiffen up the rear coilovers( if you have them) other than that i cant think of anything.
