good place for spring install
Okay, the first one's free (sorta). Everyone else is paying
I called auto innovations in Milpitas and they charge $275 for a spring install. Install takes about 4 hours for them. If I do it on my own, maybe 3 or 4. If you help me, probably (eidt) 1-2. I think $100 is reasonable...waddaya say? Help a poor student out
If you, or anyone else with an S2000 needs some maintenence done, let me know! Valve adjustments are a good idea ~50K miles.
EDIT: After calling a few more local shops, and finding much cheaper quotes, I'm dropping my price to about $70

i'd like to watch...i'd probably not be too useful as i've never done a spring install on an S2000 but I've helped with two spring installs no lesser cars
do you do other maintenance on the S? I'd like to see a tranny fluild change, diff fluid change, etc etc before i try them...

. I think we're meeting up around 10 AM tomorrow. Give me a call for directions. The tranny 'n diff stuff isn't even worth your time to watch, all you do is take off/put on some bolts. Not as easy as an oil change cause the fill holes are kinda hard to get to; all you need is a tube or a hand pump and you'll be okay.
Well I'm seriously underestimating myself, just to make time for any problems that could (but probably won't) occur. I only wish I had all the tools terrance has
He's a great guy, taught me how to do my first valve adjustment.
