Default help with oil change?

Hey guys...currently residing in santa clara, and its time for an oil change for my s2k that i bought about 6 months ago.

ive yelped a couple of places around here, but i would like to learn how to do a change myself, and have someone who does them regularly show me the ropes.

reading the forums, i know i should probably get 10W-30 and stick with synthetics, where is the best place to buy the oil/filter? autozone/walmart?

it'd be cool if someone in the area can show me how to do my first oil change. what else do i need besides 5-6 qts of oil and a filter? weekends would be best, thanks for reading.

Go to HandA.com and order some filters and washers. They're much cheaper than the dealer.
If you want Amsoil I can help you out with that. That's what Lewis runs and I think he likes it.

Royal purple and redline should not be used in the same sentence.
Use Dino oil over Royal and save some money.

Straight from Joey:

I use Mobil 1 non-synthetic as it's my daily and I'm no track fiend, not boosted, and rarely push it REALLY hard. Saves money--after all.... it is a Honda

(*different situations if you track, or are boosted, so I'm not speaking for them)
