So I installed my n1 yesterday no silencers. I see you can purchase silencers I didn't buy it new so it did not come with them. The question is has anyone tried using exhaust packing like they use on two stroke dirtbikes? I used to have to repack my exhaust all the time I wonder if it would work on a car. Think there would be any real negative effects?

 

Not possible to buy just the silencers?

 

It is I was just wondering an alternative because they say the silencers rattle pretty bad.

 

Is the exhaust to loud for you?

 

More of to loud for my neighborhood I have a lot of complainers in my area. I drive my car maybe once a week on my day off. Just don't want the silencer rattle.

 

Does anyone locally have the n1 exhaust system I would like to hear yours to see if maybe I have a leak or something. I used a mirror around the gasket to see if it would steam up it didn't . Went back through and checked everything. Be nice to meet up and hear someone else's to conpare

 

any silencers should work. Just measure the size you need. I remember i bought a 3.5" silencer on ebay becsuse my mine didnt come with (but it was the invidia dual n1)
