See if ED is still selling his car. It's in perfect shape, he needs to sell it because he is moving to China. It has been well cared for and was broken in properly. You can find him under YU888

gee,

I know you're more interested in a new one right now, but if you decide to consider used ones, I'm selling my bone stock '02 sebring silver S2000. Mileage is relatively high at 63k miles since it's my daily driver. But of course it'll cost less than one with lower miles...

Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there. Good luck in your hunt!

You two are probably in the area with the most Honda dealers to choose from. Here is a run-down of the dealers in the South Bay:

Stevens Creek Honda (San Jose)
Autowest Honda (AutoMall in Fremont)
Capitol Honda (San Jose)
Larry Hopkins Honda (Sunnyvale)
South Bay Honda (used to be Los Gatos Honda, in Los Gatos)
Anderson Honda (Palo Alto)
Menlo Honda (Redwood City)

If you go out a bit, there are:
Grace Honda (San Bruno)
Mike Harvey Honda (Burlingame)
Honda of Serramonte (Colma)
SF Honda (San Francisco)
Honda of El Cerito (El Cerito)
Jim Dotens Honda (Berkeley)
Honda of Oakland (Oakland)
Dublin Honda (Dublin)
San Leandro Honda (San Leandro)
Honda of Hayward (Hayward)
Ocean Honda (Capitola)

I am sure I missed a few dealers that are within striking distance from the South Bay, but you get the idea -- there are lots of dealers out there, and there is an S2000 out there for you. Good luck.

I was going to sell just the Invidia exhaust cuz I thought it was too loud but if you are willing to offer me a reasonable offer such as sticker for a new one, I'd sell you my 01 with 10400 miles with OZ wheels, obviously the exhaust, PRM intake, most if not all suspension braces, rear speaker upgrade, front and real lip/spoiler, and I can go on forever but you'll just have to see it. I'm an older (40+) dude who garaged and babied this car, and I have all of my receipts for records. All services done at 3K miles at most. I have not advertised this car cuz I'm not too keen on selling but if you are interested, send me an e-mail at ncolumna@atenista.net

Thanks for the info about the various dealers..

I happened to go to Stevens Creek Honda this past weekend..

got to test drive a suzuka blue S... pretty nice drive

They had 2 total... that blue one, and a red one inside.

I think I'm gonna head over to the San Fran Honda on Van Ness this weekend as well.... and maybe Sunnyvale sometime soon also.

I'll let you know how it goes also... so you're buying new I'm assuming? What colors and options/accessories are you considering?
Gee-Just curious if you have got your S yet? I went to Stevents Creek this past labor day weekend and they completely sold out on S's. They said they'll get 1 or 2 in the next few weeks. I also went to Stevens Creek Acura but they had no used ones as well. I still can't find a decent price on a used S. I've used Craislist but many of the sellers are asking for too much. Here's what I've seen for used ones on craiglist.

00 54k mi $23000
00 23k mi $23500
01 30k mi $$24000
02 14k mi $22000 (but its salvaged)
and some 04's but they are pretty asking for $29k. I rather buy new for that price. Man car shopping for a S is so hectic or in Chinese "mah fan"

I bought my Prelude and Accord with one day shopping.

If you're considering higher mileage cars, then I'd let my '02 sebring silver / black with 65k miles go for less than any of those.
