Default Lowering springs

i would like to get all of your expert opinion about a few lowering options.

eibach prokit: 1.0/1.0 (front/rear)
spoon progressive: 1.0/1.0
RM racing: 1.5/1.5

which one of these or others are good for lowering. please give me any advice on which springs you are epxerienced with and also places that do good installation work. thanks.

I'd also look into the KG/mm Race springs. Do a search and you'll find a ton of opinions (including mine) about these, and other springs.

i cant give expert opinion, but from what i hear you should look into KG/MM springs as well....they are dual rate (progressive springs) so they are stiffer than most without the bounciness...you should PM Mingster about them...i think the springs are about 270.00 its a .6 drop in front and .75 in the rear....from what i hear its the next best thing to coilovers if u cant afford them...

the KG/MM race springs drop the car about 1.4 inches...so make sure u order the "street" or "sport" springs, not the "race" springs if you want the .6-.7 inch drop.

That's the advertised drop on the springs -- 1.4" or 35mm. In reality though, I found that it lowers the car a bit less than that -- I'd say approx. 1" (sorry, no hard measurements to confirm this).

The springs are perfect for our stock shocks and don't turn our car into basketballs. Ride does get a bit stiffer/rougher, but even with my 18"s, I do not have any fender rubbing/scratching issues.

they "sag" over time... I've put on about 20k miles on them, and they are a tad lower than they used to be. I was the one that got the "too low" ticket...

For the slammed look...you'd need more like 1.7 inches. The race springs are the perfect height for...guess what...RACING!
