Default Need VSA Steering Angle Sensor Reset

Anyone have that overpriced Honda Data Interface that lets you reset the sensors? I have a 2007 and the VSA light is on due to a DTC for the VSA steering angle sensor. I'll pay you to reprogram the steering angle sensor. The service manual just talks about driving the car straight for fifteen feet, hooking up the data interface and reseting the sensor. The dealership says I need a diagnostic for $180 before they reprogram it and want more money to then program it which takes less than 5 min. Hopefully someone can give me a reference. Thanks!!

Did you replace it? Or remove the sensor?
What's DTC? My manual is packed away somewhere

The car was in an accident and the body shop took off the steering rack and then proceeded to play wheel of fortune with the steering wheel, broke the clockspring and I guess it affected the angle sensor as well. The DTC for the VSA/ABS that is being displayed is 27
