Post newbee,needing anyones help...

anyone care to help me???? i realy need help with my car...i just it 3 days ago and the car is running fine...except for that strange rattling sound when let go off the gas...like when im in fourth gear,its really loud down there...generally,it makes that strange sound whichever gear im in,as long as i let go of the gas,it does that sound...

i asked my friends opinion,he said it has something to do with the catalytic converter...but yeah,i still need another opinion...

need help guys.... thanks...

Welcome... where are you located?

Seeing you have one of the most awesome color/year combos I could possibly help ya.

I'm thinkin its the infamous "clutch decel buzz" you are talkin bout, but won't know for certain without more info.

Did you do a compression and leak down test before buying the car? If not, and you can tell the sound is not exhaust related, now would be a good time.

he's probably right, thats a common problem on the older model s2k's if you want, bring it by and i can take a look at it for you.

and its not the best color btw!
