Default Optima Battery?

Does anybody use it? What type and how much did you pay? Thanks!

I've seen a couple Optima batts in pics, but I have no idea why anyone would switch. I guess if you were running a boomin' stereo and needed more juice?

Otherwise, check out the battery that is sold on the S2KI store. It's a hell of a lot lighter than stock and still turns the motor over just fine. There's a reason to switch from stock to the Odyssey!

The Hawker Genesis in the S2Ki store is the same battery as the Odyssey. It is just repackaged

souljah-are you still pushing 2 amps and a cap? This might not be the best idea if you got big sound.

Nobody- good running in to you this weekend

Hey Asura, yea I am. My battery has been kind of week lately and if I don't drive for a week or 2, it'll die out on me. I took it to Honda and they said that my battery is kind of weak too but they can't replace it under warranty until it goes under 9.3 volts or something. Currently they said I was at 9.8. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.

You may have a ground out or short somewhere. All that audio cable You can also buy a switch for your (-) terminal that disconnects the battery when you are not using it. Another solution may be to remove the fuse to the amps and start to troubleshoot this yourself. If anything you will need a more powerful battery. Do you ever play the audio with the engine off?
