OKAY!
It's done. I finally proposed officially last night. You guy's who have been at the few meets where I've shown up have at least seen her (I bring her along all the time cause she loves the s2000 plus she does all the maintenance). I dropped my savings on a ring rather than car parts (sadness) and took the leap. Things went well and even managed to incorporate the s2000 into the act (nigh time top down under the stars at the park where our first date was). Now to get her an S2000 of her own......
