Default Purchasing My04 S2k

Im planning on buying an 2004 s2k when i get a good price. As if, if i got a good price tommorow, i would wake up early to go get one. Places around the bay area in California are being asses to me about pricing. Sure i am young but its not like i dont have the money.

Serremonte Honda has offered $32000 no option but i think i can work them down more.

Some dealer in San jose Has offered $33000 with Front lip, Side strakes, Trunk spoiler and ashtray and shift knob. whether i get the options or not, i would purchase these options by myself which would roughly cost around $1500.

Is $33000 a good deal or am i getting ripped off?

Ripped off BADLY.

$500 over invoice is a good price. Why are you getting the shift knob? and please don't smoke in your s2000! bleh! Autowest Honda is good.

If you buy it in Marin County you'll save significant $$ on the sales tax. However, the dealer(s) there may not go $500 over.

The best price i got was $30,700 with destination fee and some other bull crap fee, so all i would need extra would be tax he said. Other than that the toal would roughly come up to $33,309 out the door. Does that seem reasonable? Because im about to jump the gun on this deal. I sold my 96' prelude couple weeks ago and have been carless. Ive been carless this long so that when i get the s2k, i would be more in love with the car itself.

Just buy the car already!

Wait, I take that back. Don't buy the car. No matter what you pay, someone is going to tell you, you paid too much. Then you will be depressed and driving the car won't be fun cuz all you will think about is that you paid too much.

BTW... Are there still a lot of S2000's out there? Any colors you haven't seen too many of?

I am just asking out of curiosity... not implying that has any impact on price.

Silverstone w/ Black/Red interior is sold out for sure now. I called numerous dealerships and they are sold out. They either told me to wait (which i cant since im carless and need one badly) or get one with all Black interior. Having black on silverstone doesnt really catch my eye.

So, I was thinking of getting the white one. White always looks clean and itha that JDM Type-R look. I'm not a big Tan fan since i drove a prelude with Tan interior. However, the color of the prelude tan interior is different from the s2k's (hopefully).

Anyone else think white is a bad color?
Anyone with white regret getting the tan interior?

Personally, I would only buy the exact color I wanted. Maybe you need to give that more thought before you buy. Once you buy the car, you won't care too much about what you paid. You will definitely be thinking about the color you chose if it wasn't the right one for you.
