i've heard them from my friends. they got their car tunned there last week and i've already asked them for the price, but seems that they gave me the price a little bit higher compared to eipracing (located only besides their shop).

I called "eip" this morning and got a good price with this setup:
- comptech SC w/ aftercoller
- ACT clucth
- oil pressure and boost gauges
- HKS super high power catback
- straight pipe (no catalytic conv)
- V-AFC
- tunned, dyno (mustang) and installation included

everything to be $8600

IS IT CAN BE CALLED A GOOD PRICE???????
it's said they guarantee to be 320 whp(dyno jet).
No offense but are you sure these people know what they are doing?

V-AFC is effectively useless on the Comptech because the map clamp is such that there is no room for the VAFC to adjust it. Vortech is different because the map clamp is set different(lower I think) allowing some adjustment. Generally a VAFC is a waste on a comptech. Did they reccomend it or did you?

I would have the put the "guarantee to be 320 whp" in writing if they claim that.

320whp is pretty tough with stock header and hks exhaust (even if he's got a test pipe)

Is the Comptech kit new or used? If new, I found out it's a one day job and cost will be about $500. If used, they don't want to do it as there's always something missing from the kit.

I'm understand to what you think. first, I knew this place from my friends (EVO 8 owner). He saw s2000 turbo there in order to get tunned or something. that's why he came up to ask me a little bit to check it up. I wouldn't say they are expert in s2000, but I will dare to try it for that price. I search around and that is the lowest i find so far.

I think everyone can put SC on their car by following the manual (need some experiences too). THe most difference is the way they put it to make it looks nice.
and how they tunned it.

I'm agree to make it "WRITTEN UNDER PAPER" to make sure I will get 325whp after installed SC.

I don't know if I need V-AFC or not, but they said I need it to replace E-manage, what do you think????- eip and exzact (specialist in s2000-monteque) told me to put it.

I guess they will use the same dyno and tunned machine as DSR, but not sure for the people.

I will go there on this friday to check around and will come to DSR and talked again with them about it. I hope he can give me a good deal.

DOES ANYONE GET THE CAR DONE IN DSR???

In SF, I trust R Crew Racing. Ask for Dan or Ken. Tell them Everett sent you. They are the ONLY group, in my knowledge, with the exception of Comptech who builds and competes their cars at enduros. They stand behind their work and really know what they're doing. Trust me.
R crew is a good place i agree -MR DAN FAN !!!

AKA nice guy gave me a ARC intake ARM at no COST

The E-Manange is substaintially better than the V-AFC when it comes to FI because it allows you a much wider range of adjustments(it controls the map clamp) And you will have the option of running larger injectors if you want to. Check out the FI forum for alot more info about FI and electronics.
