Speed cameras - does anyone know of any?
Campbell had some set up for awhile, but recently I have not seen them. Previous location I knew of was SB Leigh Ave btw Hamilton and Dry Creek Rd.
San Jose uses a portable unit in residential neighborhoods, but a standard radar detectopr picks up the signal a mile away (literally)
Woodside has a protable unit that looks like it can be fitted with a photocam as well...

That is one of the main reasons why the cops are coming down hard on front plate tickets; it is because the camera can not identify you if you do anything "bad"
. They take a picture from the front of the car, NEVER from the rear. I leave mine off for aesthetic reasons, but it is good to know that I won't be identified from BS machinery.
