Default Speed cameras - does anyone know of any?

I've heard that there may be speed cameras in the area (Campbell?) but I'm not sure.

Are there any around the Bay area?

Campbell had some set up for awhile, but recently I have not seen them. Previous location I knew of was SB Leigh Ave btw Hamilton and Dry Creek Rd.

San Jose uses a portable unit in residential neighborhoods, but a standard radar detectopr picks up the signal a mile away (literally)

Woodside has a protable unit that looks like it can be fitted with a photocam as well...

Many intersections in San Francisco have "red-light runner" cameras. But these are always identified with big signs. Same with the cameras in Cupertino. I don't know about Campbell.

That is one of the main reasons why the cops are coming down hard on front plate tickets; it is because the camera can not identify you if you do anything "bad" . They take a picture from the front of the car, NEVER from the rear. I leave mine off for aesthetic reasons, but it is good to know that I won't be identified from BS machinery.
