Default Speeding Ticket - Need Help Fighting It

Hi All,

Just moved down from Seattle (I'm from San Jose originally) and got a speeding ticket coming to town on I-5 just north of Sacramento. I'm thinking about hiring one of those ticker buster attorneys to fight it for me.

Any recommendations? Does this work?

Thanks!

x2

Referring you to a traffic lawyer doesn't help you unless we know more about it. Do you want to spend over a grand in lawyer fees, or see if you can dismiss it by TBD?

Had cruise control set at 75 (indicated) in a 70 and was pulled over and written up at 82 in a 70. It was a foggy night so I guess that's why no warning but I wasn't going 82. Speeding yes, but not at what was written on the ticket.

Can't go to traffic school and don't want insurance to rise. This is my 2nd ticket in the past 10 years with no accidents, so I'm not careless.

Thanks

is this in the S? and why cant you go to traffic school?

an ex coworker of mines in his new SI got a ticket and hired one of them lawyers because he was not allowed traffic school due to a prior speeding ticket in his 240sx. He got reduced fines and allowed traffic school... so I don't know what your aiming for but lawyer fees and the reduced fine came out to a little more then the fine stated on paper... I guess traffic school is worth it.

Unless there is something you aren't telling us, you qualify for traffic school.

you can also fight it by mail and request calibration dates for the radar gun they used. if it was 1 day out of calibration you win.
