Default Steering Rack Guide, screw, and spring

I have no idea how...

But mine fell out some point this summer... that was the cause of my steering loosening up - all the way to about 6mm of play before it started to catch at all..

Well, I ordered the parts over at Larry Hopkins before leaving for the week with work.

I just spent the morning installing the new pieces...

and DAMN! it was a bitch.

I took a few photos that I'll post later today. I have to go clean up the rims for my uncle on his corvette.

Anyway, it took me two hours. But my steering is back to normal, yayyy!!!!
Now for some new tires and I'm all set for the next drive.

Sweet. must have been a pita to adjust the tension.
Yea not a whole lotta room. at least you have the reach

I'm still curious as to how you cleaned it.

Now onto the diff/axle noise. You have to bring it by sometime unless you already figured it out.
