strange idle problem

Default strange idle problem

Well then within the last week its happened to me three times. My car cant find idle it just revs between 1-3.5k rpm dont know what it is no check engine light on and no vacuum leak anywhere. Dont know what it could be. Anybody have this happen to them? need help

Try the map whack and ecu reset.

whats the map wack and how do you do that and how do you reset the ecu

you can always try unplugging the battery?

My friend's MR2 has a similar problem. For him, it was the car not being able to cool down. He replaced his radiator and it helped, but it still does it. Not sure if your car has the same problem.

Since its an 05 I would honestly take it to the dealer and let them take a look.
