Any one have any experience with the Dunlop Star Specs in the rain here? I've heard they are a decent tire.

Five years ago.....I had Sumitomo HTRZ II on my previous car. They worked great in the rain.

Currently, I have Sumitomo HTRZ III on the s2000, and they work great in the rain also. If anything, I was surprised with the amount of grip and traction.

they sell tires pretty cheap!

if u need them mount i might be able to help u out if u willing to drive to cupertino. its 3 bucks for the weight each wheel. for the labor u can just buy me big mac.... let me know if i can help u out.

damn! I already had them shipped to a shop =( When I get my track tires and wheels i'll definitly hit you up. Maybe even give you 2 big macs!

I recommend these as well (the DW, NOT the DWS...S= Snow, you don't need it here). Just switched to these on the rear from Sumitomos...MUCH, MUCH better....amazing how much more grip there is, and no noise complaints or anything as such either. Can't comment on how quickly they wear out just yet.
