yeah this weekend we are gonna redo it,.....i was unaware of "preloading the bushings" and read a few threads on it . But what is the right way to do it??? using a jack to lift it or lowering it with wheels on????....if you lower it with the wheels on,how do you get in there to tighten everything down??????
And as far as preloading the spring on the coilover,.....i keep reading conflicting issues on it,................some say unless you are racing you shouldnt "preload" it beyond it being "snug" for street use
as far as preloading the springs, it's a semi preference and really used mainly for as part of corner balancing. I say preference cause like me, I like to take the extra initial slop out of the suspension and that extra 1/2inch of body/suspension movement really makes a difference in driver/car reaction/feeling.

I don't DD my car, but when I do, I like it nice and tight. It's also a way to make sure that on heavy cars, you dont bottom out the suspension on heavy loads.

I think you answered your question right there on which method to use. Unless you have a ramp style lift option A is the only viable solution.

like CASTRO said its somewhat about preference. Also if you corner balance one way to do so is to adjust preload on the CO's to balance the car out. When people mention "snug" that is usually zero preload. Does your CO's have measurements in the instructions? that is usually set a zero preload.

^ No ... I took one of my days I got in the my leave bank.
1. To get an alignment
2. My nephew spent the nite and today at my house so we can kick it before he goes back to live in Vegas.

The specs won't be that different than what I had before. I just needed them reset after the coilover install. Hoping I can get a lil more front camber now that I'm lowered.

my instructions are in japanese so no help there. i guess i will just make it "snug" and then move the collar in a half inch and call it a day.

you should be happy with those settings plus toe that is within acceptable range. For me, I have my rear toe set to the outer limits of the acceptable range but as straight as possible lol. Makes the rear a tad bit looser but I'm running -2.6 rear camber so it makes up for it. Also with that rear toe setting, it saves more tire
