Default Computer Speaker Recommendation

Hey guys,

Can anyone recommend me what speakers to use for my Mac? Now that the computer and the internet is becoming more and more the entertainment center of the house I would like to upgrade to a better sound system. Please let me know what your setup is and approximate cost. Thanks!

-John

Also is this just for the Mac only? If you have a TV, build the entertainment system around that. It will be a waste to use an expensive system just for the Mac. You can get some decent component system that's meant for computers.

Set up for DVI and optical audio No 3.5 mm line in crap.

I already have a nice Surround System for my plasma...but lately I don't watch much TV unless it's for sports. I need it more for my office area. It's a place I can just chill and relax...

Generally speaking, Bose sucks. I would avoid them.

You're paying for the Bose name. Logitech is a good choice for comp speakers. Anything more, your better off selecting individual speakers & receiver.
